As the Director of this institute, my aim is to make this institute “Centre of Excellence” in the field of Ayurvedic education, Research and health care services.

To promote and propagate Ayurved globally, the institute is intended to start various short term courses for foreign nationals and also sign “Memorandum of Understanding” with renowned institutes of Ayurved functioning abroad.

Working with an aim to provide best in academics and clinical excellence we organize various guest lectures, workshops, seminars, clinical and research meetings in the Institute

I am very much thankful to Honourable Chief Minister & Health Minister of Govt of Delhi and all the dignitaries from our Governing body for their timely valuable guidance and support which encourage us all the time to get success in every field of this Institute.

Last but not the least; I believe that our achievement lies in the group effort and work culture of our institute that will positively pave a path and will build new milestones in Ayurved.

Greetings from the Department of Ayurveda at New Delhi's Ayurvedic and Unani Tibbia College and Hospital. Our Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery undergraduate programme is robust, and we also offer a Post-Graduate degree programme with four specialisations. We currently offer M.D. degrees in Kriya Sharira, Panchakarma, Kayachikitsa, and Dravya Guna at the postgraduate level.

Our institute provides science-based Ayurvedic education. Our curriculum's main goals are to provide students with technical knowledge, encourage their ability to figure out solutions, and encourage them to develop novel approaches to ayurveda medicine. New scientific and technological advancements are introduced into the course material on a regular basis. Different types of research projects are encouraged for undergraduates.

Active research groups are maintained by our postgraduate department to conduct cooperative and multidisciplinary research. To assist our academic programmes and research, we collaborate with research centres on several occasions.

Our institution has an impressive track record in both research and teaching. Faculty members are highly esteemed and have outstanding academic credentials. At both the national and international levels, they have received numerous honours of distinction. In addition to organising international conferences and symposia, a number of faculty members sit on the editorial boards of national and international journals and regularly examine technical articles for journals. The alumni from our institutes are placed at reputed organisations and one of our alumni is receipient of Padmabhushan award and serving as a Technical Officer in the Traditional, Complementary & Integrative Medicine Unit, World Health Organisation, Geneva, Switzerland.

Dear Friends,I feel an immense pleasure as principal to introduce the website of Ayurvedic & Unani Tibbia College and Hospital.

Ayurvedic & Unani Tibbia College and Hospital is one of the premier and reputed institute in India.

Hakim Mohammed Ajmal Khan (1868-1927) proved to be the most outstanding and multifaceted personality of his era. His contribution to the cause of India’s freedom, National integration and communal harmony is matchless. He was a sound and far sighted statesman and an educationist of highest caliber. Ayurvedic and Unani Tibbia College & Hospital, in Delhi is a living and thriving memory of this great man. The College foundation stone was laid by Lord Harding on 29th March, 1916 & inaugurated by the Father of the Nation on 13th February 1921.

The institution is imparting 5 ½ year UG courses in both the streams having the intake capacity of 40 in each. And Post graduate Courses in Kaya Chikitsa & Sharir kriya ( in Ayurveda) and . Munaf- Ul Aza(Unani Physiology). Ilm –us- Saidla(Unani Pharmaceutical Science). Amraz-E-Niswan And Qabalat (Unani Gynaecology & Obstetrics) Moalijat (Unani Medicine) in Unani . The college is affiliated to University of Delhi. . Annual intake is granted by CCIM and AYUSH (Government of India).

Hospital services are providing to the needy people on OPD & IPD basis. Apart from Ayurvedic and Unani OPDs other special OPDs like Homeopathy, Dental, Geriatric and Diabetic etc are also serving to the mankind in our premises only. Bed strength in hospital is 300. All the facilities in the institution are free of cost to the public at the large.

In the coming academic year, the students in institution can also look forward to wider range of opportunities to stretch themselves beyond classroom through greater participations in seminar, re-orientation, medical conferences etc. the teaching faculty is also working on existing curriculum to sharpen the learning of our student in the academic area.

Our caring approach to the students ensure to produce doctors with good human values, who have systemic approach to the patients and are sensitive towards the problem faced by the patients.
